How to use this tool
Dip Finder ranks USDT pairs showing bearish pressure or potential washout zones: breakdown proximity, volume expansion, short trend alignment and negative news-driven moves.
How it works
- Dip score blends breakdown status, volume vs EMA, distance to breakdown level, low RSI pressure and negative news change.
- Status labels: Confirmed (breakdown + volume), Breakdown, Volume, Building (trend down near level), Watch.
- Switch 1H / 4H / 1D to scan different breakdown timeframes.
- “To breakdown” shows how far price is above the breakdown/support level — smaller values mean closer to a potential washout.
- News Δ comes from top losers after news — useful for catalyst context, not a standalone entry trigger.
What to consider
- High dip scores can signal continuation lower, not only bounce opportunities — wait for reversal evidence if buying dips.
- RSI below 30 can remain oversold in strong downtrends; do not assume instant mean reversion.
- Long trend bias reduces the dip score because downside continuation is less aligned.
- Volume spikes on drops may indicate capitulation or distribution — check liquidity and candle close.
- Use Support & Resistance, Market Scanner or Breakout Scanner for broader context before acting.
